The CPD-accredited training course is delivered by a professional bid writer, Jamie Edwards, who has extensive experience and a proven track record in winning public sector contracts. This course is interactive, allowing you to ask questions, participate in conversations and learn from Jamie’s experiences.

Course objectives

  • Understand the tendering process and identify which tenders are right for your business
  • Understand public contracts regulations including the Single Procurement Document (SPD)
  • Learn how to prepare in advance for the opportunity being advertised, including building long-term relationships with authorities
  • Understand the fundamentals of writing good responses including tips on how to answer project-specific questions

By the end of the course, you will have a solid understanding of public sector procurement and be ready to start bidding with confidence.

Requirements

The course will be delivered via Zoom, split over two sessions lasting 3.5 hours each (7 hours total). You can attend this course without any installation required on your computer, but it is highly recommended that you join using a desktop or laptop computer rather than a tablet or mobile phone. Ideally, you will have both a webcam and microphone.
